History
This clone was introduced to Mexico in 1997 through a collaboration agreement between INIFAP and Nestlé Mexico for the development of technology in this coffee species under Mexican growing conditions. After its experimental evaluation, it was released for cultivation in 2007 by the Rosario Izapa Experimental Field in Tuxtla Chico, Chiapas, multiplied vegetatively by the method of 'rooted cuttings' and by somatic embryogenesis.
